The bonus includes official errata, designer's notes, rules variants by the designer (not part of the original game), game reviews, and the official rules with after-publication errata and clarifications. Some to all of the bonus will be sent by email upon shipping your purchase. All bonus and extras material are available for sale separately if requested. Asian Crossroads is a two-player simulation of the 19th century conflicts in Central Asia between the expanding empires of Britain and Russia. Players attempt to use a combination of military and economic resources to gain control of Central Asia. A Joseph Miranda design with a number of nice touches. Elephants for the money are a powerful combat unit, but too slow by themselves to keep enemy infantry from retreating. Irregulars can sneak through the frontlines to attack garrisons in the rear, but often too weak to destroy the trading posts being guarded. The more important neutral areas are also the hardest to turn into allies. Game designed by Joseph Miranda, veteran S&T editor and designer. Published May\June 2003 by Decision Games.
