Strategy & Tactics #146 with a Great Bonus!!!
According to one source the publisher had the rules cut by half, making the game unplayable. Later S&T #160 included an 11 page rules update (which still may have left rough patches), but decades later the rules were rewritten incorporating all errata along with additional material! The bonus includes the new rewrite, art for a new map, the art for 200+ Variant Counters, and much more!

The great bonus includes the rewrite of the original rules (incorporating the 11 pages rules update from S&T #160 along with new material), the art for 200+ Variant Counters (including replacements for the entire Italian Army!), the art for a new strategic map for Medwar, 6 pages of optional rules for MedWar Air & Operations, and more! Some to all of the bonus will be sent by email. All bonus and extras material are available for sale separately if requested. Fifth Corps is a simulation of a hypothetical invasion of West Germany by Warsaw Pact Forces in the 1980s. Standard and exclusive rules are included along with three scenarios - Rhein-Main Raid (introductory), Battle for Fulda Gap, and Fifth Corps (campaign scenario). It uses the same Central Front game system employed by Hof Gap, North German Plain, BOAR and Donau Front (see our store listings for S&T #88 and #131). Sicily is an operational WWII simulation. It is part of a highly popular four game system that appeared in S&T covering operations in Italy. The system innovations are acclaimed for having variable strengths of ZOC depending on the terrain. An armored regiment can run past a coastal defense battalion with difficulty but not the reverse. As terrain gets worse, ZOCs get weaker forcing a greater reliance on garrisoning positions. The magazine also includes 13 pages of articles by Joseph Miranda on the Roman Empire. Game designed by John Schettler. Published November 1991 by 3W.
