Demons is complete with all game parts in high level excellent to new condition. The 100 counters are unpunched and in new condition (see Enlargeable Pictures). The 11"x17" color map and the rules (with charts bound in) are in high level excellent condition with only slight flaws. The map has apparently never been backfolded. The wrap around sheet with the cover art is in close to new condition with only minor flaws. The original self-sealing bag (a hideously bad idea in packaging as it is a constant navigational hazard to putting the game away) is functional though a bit darkened and scuffed (see the last enlargeable picture).
The MegaExtras include The Demons WebGuide witth the art for a redesigned counter set and map, a well thought out review of the game (that should be very helpful in dealing with the game's shortcomings) and a video review\overview. With a little tinkering it seems Demons could be nicely improved upon. The Demons WebGuide will be emailed upon shipment of your purchase.
Armenia in 1091 was torn by war and religious strife, representing a great opportunity for treasure hunting magicans, if they had as you do, a copy of King Solomon's Lamegeton. For it allows the user to conjure up fearful demons to do the dirty work! Demons is a fast-paced one to four player game, based on the medieval and ancient manuscripts of the Lamegeton. The rules though relatively easy to learn and play do have some rough patches, so be prepared to tinker up some inhouse solutions. Expect to be harassed by the other player(s) as well as chased by the locals. Summoning up the more powerful Demons has a cost as well in treasure and danger, as their curses may prove hazardous to your health!
For shipping this book will be wrapped in plastic and taped between two extremely sturdy sheets of cardboard!
